Its no great secret that factory fitted pickups are far from perfect, with the same pickup often found in a £200 guitar as that found in a £1000 guitar. And lets face it, a cheap pickup on a good piece of wood won't do any form of justice! Well....Tonerider have set out to right that wrong for you - with their one aim: to make the worlds finest sounding pickups, priced for the working musician. You get just the classic sound you require, without paying through the nose, teeth and eyes for it!
What do you want from your pickups?
High build quality - Tonerider make all their own parts, including injection formed bobbins, German silver baseplates and covers, and milled spacers. You won't find this attention to detail and tone in any other custom humbucker. Using vintage correct iron pole slugs, maple spacer and nickel-silver covers, these pickups sound fantastic in all twin humbucker guitars. All Tonerider humbucker pickups come with four conductor wiring, unlike most manufacturer's pickups, and can be used seamlessly with both Gibson and Fender pickups. This means that they can be installed seamlessly in strat with SSH and HSH configurations, as well as Les Paul and SG style guitars.
Reliability - All Tonerider Pickups are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of delivery.
