Non-Account Activity. You can listen to music, download music from artists that make their tracks publicly available, visit Artist, Studio and Store profiles without having an Upcoming Beats Artist or Listeners account respectively.

Account-Related Activity. Certain other activities on Upcoming Beats-like for example uploading tracks, creating a favourite track or wish list, commenting on tracks, featuring tracks, adding products, creating news-requires you to have an Upcoming Beats account respectively. We ask for some personal information when you create an Upcoming Beats Artist or Listeners account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorised access. Further information is required for Studio and Store accounts.

Usage Information. We may record information about your usage, such as when you use Upcoming Beats, favourite tracks, the contacts you communicate with, the tracks you listen to and the frequency and size of data transfers, as well as information you display or click on at Upcoming Beats (including UI elements, settings and other information). If you are logged in, we may associate that information with your account. We may use clear GIFs (a.k.a. "Web Beacons") in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.

Content Uploaded to Site. Any personal information that you voluntarily disclose online (on track boards or profile pages, etc.) becomes publicly available.

Uses

• If you submit personal identifiable information to us through the Upcoming Beats Sites, we use your personal information to operate, maintain and provide to you the general and personalised features and functionality of the Upcoming Beats Sites and to process any activity or correspondence you send to us.
• If you create an Artist account, your Artist Name (not your email address) is displayed to other users when you have uploaded a tracks Other users can contact you through comments, facebook group or our secure emailing system. This being a form that a user my fill out, not showing your email address for you to reply to. It is up to you to reply to these emails. Any tracks that you submit as an Artist to the Upcoming Beats Sites may be redistributed through the Internet if chosen to be by yourself. Though if you do not wish your tracks to be Downloadable, they will simply be streamed. Streamed; listening live without initially downloading. You may of course delete any track that you have uploaded from the website at any time. Though all the comments made on that track will also be deleted.
• We use both your personally identifiable information and certain non-personally identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, click stream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the Upcoming Beats Sites and to create new features, promotions, functionality and services by storing, tracking, analysing and processing user preferences and trends, as well as user activity and communications.
• We use cookies, clear gifs and log file information to: (a) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Upcoming Beats Sites; (b) provide custom, personalised content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (e) track your entries, submissions and status in promotions, sweepstakes and contests.

Information that is Publicly Available

• When you create an Artist or Listeners account on the site, some information regarding your account and your account activity will be provided to other Users of the site. This may include the date you opened your account, the date you last logged in to your account, your country and the number of tracks you have listened to and rated.
• If you have a Listeners account, your Username (not your email address) is displayed to other Users when you engage in certain activity on the site.
• If you have an Artists account, you can choose to add personal information that will be visible to other Users. This may include a profile picture, your inspirations, your favourite artists and where you originate from.
• If you create a Store account, your Store Name is displayed to other users as well as any other information you may add into your account. Other users can contact you through our secure emailing system. This being a form that a user may fill out, not showing your email address for you to reply to. It is up to you to reply to these emails, though it is up to you to make other contact methods available.
• If you create a Studio account, your Studio Name is displayed to other users as well as any other information you may add into your account. Other users can contact you through our secure emailing system. This being a form that a user may fill out, not showing your email address for you to reply to. It is up to you to reply to these emails, though it is up to you to make other contact methods available.
• If you choose to add certain features to your Artists page, these features and your activity associated with these features will be displayed to other Users. Such shared activity may include tracks you add as favourites or tracks you have uploaded if you are an Artist.

Your Choices

• You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Upcoming Beats Sites, in which case you can still listen to tracks and explore the Upcoming Beats Sites, but Upcoming Beats may not be able to provide certain services to you. Some advanced Upcoming Beats features may, for authentication purposes, require you to sign up for. The privacy notices of those services govern the use of your personal information associated with them.
• You may update or correct your personal Information and email preferences at any time by visiting my profile. once logged in.
• You may clear your viewing history at any time through "History" in your web browser.
• You can control the information that is available to other users at any time, simply by editing your account and the features included on your profile page.
